Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

For the news in our blog, we are going to talk about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The fashion show was on the 29th of November, 2011. The girls who model the Victoria Secret’s clothes are called the Victoria’s Secret Angels. Basically, the fashion shows are about their models that walk around showing the different designs and categories of clothing from the Victoria’s Secret store and they add like wings and sparkles to make it look more like a costume on the runway. The fashion show is held every year, but this year, a puerto rican model, 22 year old Joan Smalls, joined the Victoria Secret Angels. 
We chose this news for the blog because we think that it is an honor to have a model representing Puerto Rico in one of the biggest shows watched worldwide. We also think that it is a big deal for a puertorican to be going on such a big event and representing the beauty of Puerto Rico and actually be accepted on being a model for the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
